A brief history of the Milwaukee, Sparta & North Western Railway:

06/26/21

Located pm the east side of Sparta, this small through girder bridge crosses Harmony Avenue.
Built in 1911, the bridge is listed as a through girder, although also gives the resemblance of a steel stringer. The bridge rests on concrete substructures.
Throughout the Sparta-Milwaukee line, there are a number of other similar bridges. This span currently serves an unnamed trail.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in fair condition, with some deterioration on the substructures.

The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
